Taiwan

Confirm the latest requirements with the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, including forms, consultation certificates, identity documents, and guarantor-related documents.

China / Hong Kong

Confirm documents and procedures with the local Japanese embassy, consulate-general, or designated application agency.

Mongolia / Thailand / Vietnam

Application windows, designated agents, translation requirements, and stay conditions differ by country. Follow the local Japanese mission’s latest rules.

Check the Japanese embassy or consulate responsible for your location for current medical stay visa documents, fees, review time, and whether a registered guarantor is required.

The hospital issues consultation or appointment documents. When guarantor documents are required, a partner travel agency or administrative scrivener confirms the process based on the visa type.

Apply for the Visa

Submit documents to the Japanese embassy, consulate, exchange association, or designated agency responsible for the patient’s location

Travel to Japan for Treatment

Visa is issued and your travel itinerary is arranged
