KIF5B-RET陽性的肺癌患者為對象的第二期的臨床實驗 在台灣、日本、美國、香港、泰國 實施期間為 2013.4~2016.4，招募志願者20人 使用藥劑為E7080(lenvatinib)，為一種標靶藥。
志願者資格為： 1.18歲以上 2.被診斷為肺癌 3.KIF5B轉移或是RET轉移者 4.能夠使用 5.經過RECIST 1.1判別可能有腫瘤者 6.血壓被控制者 7.PS 0 or 1
不能成為志願者： 1.在使用lenvatinib初次服用前21天有接受過其他抗腫瘤藥物者 2.過去使用其他的抗腫瘤藥物有嚴重的副作用且無法回復者 3.有嚴重的心臟疾病患者 4.消化機能有問題者 5.在初次接受lenvatinib前三週內接受手術者
英文的臨床實驗說明： This is a Phase 2, open-label, safety and activity study of lenvatinib in subjects with KIF5B-RET-positive adenocarcinoma of the lung and other confirmed RET translocations. At least 20 subjects with KIF5B-RET will be treated and will receive lenvatinib at a starting dose of 24 mg orally, once per day. Additional subjects with other RET translocations will be treated with lenvatinib at a starting dose of 24 mg orally, once per day.（Clinical trials.gov）
